Hi all, I have been having a great run of luck lately!!! I have won over the past month, a Guess Watch (Instyle mag) a mens appollo mountain bike (milo comp), a weekend away at Mantra Kingscliff (Triple M) and the best so far a meet and greet with Gossip flights to sydney accomodation lunch transfers and 2 ipod nanos filled with all gossips songs (Nova). Just got back today from Sydney was so awesome, the band were so friendly as was the whole team at Nova!!!!

Very small win here but its still exciting.. I won a box of fresh Australian Cherries today! Last month was a dvd. Maybe one day I will win something bigger, until then, small wins are just as exciting!

I’d be happy with that !. I have been entering comps since November and am still to even have a small win !. Have decided to give it away for awhile -Lots of time put in, and not even movie tickets won. Little frustrated . Im sure you will get a win soon, just keep trying, it will be harder though because your under18 but not impossible. Check on this site for all the kids sites, check out dolly and girlfriend sites ect. The other site that I use is a paid site which wont be any good for you Im sorry. Hope you have lots of luck coming your way.

I am new to comping, thought I’d give it a go in my free time. Have to admit I was one of the world’s biggest sceptics about comps (i.e. bet I never win anything, these people aren’t real). But New Year, new attitude.
I am positively BEAMING because I’ve just found out I’ve had my first win, and it’s only been a few weeks! It’s such an adrenaline high! It’s a small prize (gift pack with movie tickets, DVD and other goodies), but the value of the prize isn’t important – I actually WON something! I’ve never won anything in my life! What a feeling!
To all those who get downhearted, all I can say is keep going – you WILL win. But most of all, remember to have fun with it. Fingers crossed for 2010 success to one and all!
I have two wins to report which is very bitter sweet for me. Firstly I was fortunate to be one the five major prize winners in the recent pass the parcel comp which was drawn today, I won the Paramore experience which includes 2tickets to the paramore concert on the 24th of Feb, return tickets to Sydney from nearest capital city, one nights accom in sydeny, return transfers from hotel to concert which is at luna park and a copy of their newest album signed. Total value is $2,100. Unfortunately i will be overseas on that date and Im trying to find out if I can swap for another one of the dates so I dont lose out on the prize.
Secondly I received a food hamper from Taste in the post today, $29.95.

I’ve been talking to the promoter to the win and they have agreed to help me out and are trying to swap the prize to Soundwave in Melbourne or Adelaide, which I am extremely happy about as not only do I get to see Paramore but all the other bands that will be at sound wave which is awesome. I will let everyone know for sure as soon as I know, Im hoping Il get confirmation this week,
On average I spend about 4-5 hours entering everyday, while im on holidays I have the time to spend. If you dont have the time to spend, try and spend what time you do have on WOL’s which people dont enter as much and spend more time on crafting your answers rather than just entering luck of the draw…also keep your eyes out for supermarket comps. Hope this helps.

I have no secret, im a member of a number of sights, I enter a lot of comps and not just web ones. I dont think I will post in future if people are going to accuse me of lying, thats just poor sportsmanship.

Congratulations Stass1! Well done!! You are really good at this. What an achievement for only a couple of days into the new year. Even though you seem to have it down to a fine art, I still think you’d get a huge buzz out of each (extremely frequent) win. Couriers and posties would certainly know how to find you by now.
Combined though, unfortunately our start is only average. I keep plodding along - I’m so lucky, I even missed out on a free sample! Now THAT takes skill. Manana, Manana - always manana. It’ll happen. Living rurally, I don’t put in for city based tix etc, so lessen my chances even more. It’ll happen “in due course.” In fact, cheque’s probably in the mail right now.
However, in the meantime………Want to go half share in a lotto ticket?
